The GBAA and IDRF in dialog with the Federal Ministry for Data and Transport (BMDV)
As part of the BMDV’s initiative to strengthen Germany as an aviation location, the GBAA is strengthening the dialog on the competitiveness of air traffic and focusing on reducing the state cost burden. Specifically, it is calling for a reduction in government levies and fees to secure the future of business aviation. The GBAA and IDRF have identified nine key issues that are decisive for the competitiveness and future security of Germany as an aviation location. In an intensive dialog, concrete proposals for action were developed to tackle the existing challenges and strengthen Germany’s position in international aviation.
